Our Chief Orthodontist* graduated from King’s College Hospital of London University, England and earned a Bachelor degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) in 1991.
After graduating from dental school, he worked at the Departments of Restorative Dentistry as well as the Emergency Dental Clinic at the Bristol Dental Hospital in England. This was followed by a residency post at the Royal London Hospital Trust in the Departments of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in London, England.
In 1994, our Chief Orthodontist* attended the orthodontic residency program at Eastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester, New York. This program is a fully American Dental Association (ADA) accredited orthodontic training program and he completed his orthodontic residency in the US in 1996. He is also board certified, as a Diplomate, of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).
From 1997 - 1999, he worked as an associate for a private orthodontic practice in Hong Kong. In March, 1999 he founded his own private practice in Hong Kong.
Between 1997 and 2002, our Chief Orthodontist* was a part time Clinical Lecturer at the Prince Philip Dental Hospital of Hong Kong University, where he instructed post-graduate dental students, attending the Masters program in Orthodontics.
From 1998 to 2006, our Chief Orthodontist* was a consulting orthodontist for World Link Medical Group in Shanghai. In 2007, he started the Puresmile Orthodontics and Dentistry Group in Shanghai. Throughout the past 12 years, he has established successful and busy orthodontic practices in both Hong Kong and Shanghai and currently, he has over 1000 patients under his care. He has to date treated thousands of satisfied patients with the highest standard of results.
